Make Us Your Child’s
Dental Home

At Capitol Kids Dentistry, we believe that caring for little teeth is just as important as caring for permanent ones and starting the habit of proper oral health at a young age is important to ensuring a healthy smile for life! Our team is committed to providing individualized attention and the best quality care to your child’s teeth. Dr. Megan A. Haggerty has an additional 2 years of training beyond receiving her degree in dentistry and specializes in treating children.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Before any work is done, you and your child will be introduced to Dr. Megan and the rest of our team. X-rays may be taken to determine your child’s dental needs if necessary. During the examination of your child’s mouth, head and neck, Dr. Megan will discuss the results of the examination with you and your child, and any treatment she may recommend. Your child’s teeth may be cleaned and a preventative fluoride treatment given. Additional services will be scheduled for a later date.

DOES PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY COST MORE THAN GENERAL DENTISTRY?

We want your child to receive the best dental care in Frankfort, so we accept most insurance, including Medicaid and KCHIP. We are happy to work with you to create a dental hygiene plan for your child that will suit your family’s financial needs.
